Event Description
Over 400 children will converge on Sun Peaks Resort to take part in this 7th annual festival that is hosted by Sun Peaks’ own Director of Skiing Nancy Greene and the Sun Peaks Alpine Club.
This two day event consists of a race on OSV and several skill events around the mountain, including moguls, jumps, kombi, speed and a dual course. Connected with the Alcan Nancy Greene Ski League, it’s all about having fun and teaching children the fundamentals of ski racing. The league is open to children between 6 and 11 years of age and introduces them to basic skiing techniques and skills and helps them develop their ABC’s…agility, balance, coordination and strength/speed.
