Family Friday's Begin August 7th
July 30, 2009 – Sun Peaks, BC – TGIF will take on new meaning at Sun Peaks during the month of August, as kids get to golf, bike or hike for FREE every Friday at the resort during Family Fridays.
Beginning on Friday, August 7th, children between 6 and 18 years old will get to golf 18 holes, or get a free lift ticket for the bike park or hiking trails, when accompanied by a paying adult or guardian. This promotion is valid every Friday in August, during Sunburst Express Chairlift operating hours for hiking and biking (10am to 7pm) and regular golf course hours (7am to dusk).
“We’re thrilled with this new promotion as it encourages family time and sharing the passion of summer sports – be it golf, biking or hiking,” says Anne Haight, Director of Sales and Marketing with Sun Peaks Resort Corporation. “We’re hoping to encourage children to experience a new activity that they might not otherwise attempt. So come on up with the kids, have some fun and escape the valley heat!”
After working up an appetite in the outdoor playground that is Sun Peaks, children 6 to 18 years old can receive 50 percent off the purchase of an entrée at Masa’s Bar + Grill in the Village Day Lodge, when accompanied by an adult purchasing an entrée of equal or greater value.
