Kids in Grade 4 and 5 Ski FREE at Sun Peaks

SnowPass Program returns through Canadian Ski Council

Sun Peaks, BC (October 23, 2009) – Kids in Grades 4 and 5 can ski free once again this winter at Sun Peaks Resort through the Canadian Ski Council’s SnowPass program!

In its 14th year, the SnowPass booklet gives students born in 1999 or 2000 up to three FREE lift tickets for every participating ski area, including Sun Peaks Resort.

“We’re always happy to support any program that promotes and sustains winter sports,” says Anne Haight, Director of Marketing and Sales with Sun Peaks Resort Corporation. “It’s important to encourage continued growth of the sport and also ensure that kids are leading a healthy, active lifestyle.”

The SnowPass Booklet is valid from December 1st to the end of the season, and in addition to lift tickets for Sun Peaks, the pass also includes a bonus grade 6 coupon that can be used next season!

To get your child’s SnowPass for the upcoming winter, head to www.snowpass.ca, complete the registration, upload a photo and pay the administration fee (only $17 for regular mail!). Applications are also available from your child’s elementary school teachers, or at Sport Mart, Sport Chek, Sports Experts, and Intersport stores.
