Hike or Bike for only $2.00 tomorrow at Sun Peaks!
Sun Peaks, BC (July 4, 2011) – It’s the best deal of year as hikers and downhill mountain bikers ride the Sunburst Chairlift tomorrow for only a Toonie, at the same time as giving back to the local community.
The annual Sunburst Chairlift Toonie Day takes place tomorrow, Tuesday, July 5.
Ride the bike park and hike the alpine trails at Sun Peaks for only two dollars, with proceeds going to the Kamloops Food Bank and the Sun Peaks Health Association. Food donations are also being collected for the Kamloops Food Bank.
And Toonie Day spreads beyond the chairlift this summer! Several village restaurants and retail shops have toonie specials lined up as well including: Bella Italia, Cahilty Creek Bar & Grill, Fusion North Boutique, Mantles Restaurant, Powder Hounds, and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.
