Sun Peaks Family Cup: January 5-9, 2011

 

 

Sun Peaks, BC (December 20, 2010) – Guests from around the globe will be waxing their skis and getting ready to represent their country in the 5th Annual Sun Peaks Family Cup, taking place January 5-9, 2011.

 

This five day event at the BC Interior resort of Sun Peaks is all about celebrating your nationality as a family.

 

The marquee event of the festival is the recreational races on Saturday, January 8, where families will don their national colours and race for their home nation. Countries will be going head to head in this fun, recreational race for the Family Cup…not to mention bragging rights!

 

In addition to the main Race Day, there are a ton of other events, including a High Roller Mountain Marathon, Children’s Obstacle Course, and a cross-country ski race.
