WestJet’s new Calgary-Kamloops Schedule allows Sun Peaks to draw more skiers and golfers
Sun Peaks, BC (January 27, 2011) – WestJet Airlines is revamping their schedule and changing the arrival/departure times of the Calgary-Kamloops flight.
The new schedule will have the flight arriving in Kamloops from Calgary at 7:35pm, and departing Kamloops back to Calgary at 7:00am.
“The morning departure means that Sun Peaks Resort guests can connect in Calgary to any flights, especially those eastbound connections,” said Christopher Nicolson, President of Tourism Sun Peaks. “Likewise, the evening arrival means we can now collect guests through connections from more cities, both north and south of the border.”
WestJet Airlines continues to be an excellent option for ski and golf groups due to the volume of seats and the cargo space for equipment (skis, golf clubs, etc).
The flight schedule changes will be implemented May 1, 2011.
