contests,
fulfilling sponsor obligations, and filming segments for upcoming 
mountain bike
films. But every year, Matt Hunter and Graham Agassiz clear their 
schedule to
spend time at Sun Peaks to share their passion for mountain biking with 
the
younger riding generation.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: black;" lang="EN-CA">&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: black;" lang="EN-CA">27 kids 
(9yrs-16yrs) from Kamloops, the Lower
Mainland, Rossland and Hinton have been spending the week at Sun Peaks
shredding the Bike Park with Agassiz and Hunter, who is one of the 
biggest
mountain bike freeriders in the world. The 2010 Mountain Bike Freeride 
Camp
wraps up this afternoon.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: black;" lang="EN-CA">&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: black;" lang="EN-CA">Hunter, who
 rides for Specialized Bikes,
Shimano, DaKine, and Chromag, has been teaching at the Sun Peaks camp 
for the
last three years. He says it&rsquo;s the local kids that keep him returning 
year
after year. &ldquo;This group has lots of kids from small towns and they have a
 super
good attitude.&rdquo; He also says it&rsquo;s fun to ride with Agassiz, which is a 
rare
opportunity. &ldquo;Graham and I don&rsquo;t get to ride together much in the 
summer, so
that is also really cool.&rdquo;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: black;" lang="EN-CA">&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: black;" lang="EN-CA">Agassiz 
rides for Kona Bikes, Sombrio, Smith
Goggles and Monster Energy Drink. He chose to spend his week at Sun 
Peaks
instead of teaching at the Whistler bike camp. &ldquo;I did this camp over 
Whistler
so I could be with the local kids and support my local mountain.&rdquo;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: black;" lang="EN-CA">&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: black;" lang="EN-CA">And these 
kids have been getting a
once-in-a-lifetime experience. Not only have they been spending the week
shredding with Hunter and Agassiz, but DaKine hooked up all of the kids 
with
riding jerseys and shorts. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: black;" lang="EN-CA">&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: black;" lang="EN-CA">After the 
camp wraps up at Sun Peaks, Agassiz
heads to Crankworks in Colorado, while Hunter is heading overseas to 
Indonesia

Village Square.</p>

attention shifts to the <b>Sun Peaks &amp; Region Farmers&rsquo; Market</b> as

celebrate the local farmers, ranchers and artisans who join us weekly in
 the
village. Sign your family up for the Farmers&rsquo; Market Olympics, with 
scarecrow
making, corn husking, corn eating, and water balloon competitions!</p>

after a successful appearance during the Canada Day Celebrations, there
